The Yamaha R3 strikes a perfect balance between sporty looks and daily usability. As a lightweight sportbike, it's perfect for both beginners and experienced riders who want something nimble, stylish, and reliable. Plus, it's a head-turner on the streets.
Key reasons I chose this bike:
✅ Sleek and aggressive sportbike design
✅ Smooth twin-cylinder performance
✅ Great for daily riding and touring
✅ Easy to mod with plenty of aftermarket parts
✅ Reliable even on long-distance rides
Just like with my ADV160, I took the R3 all the way to Bangkok, Thailand. The trip was thrilling, and the R3 handled everything from highways to tight city streets without any issues. Long-distance cruising, border crossings, fuel stops — this bike took it all in stride.
I'll be adding photos of the trip in the Gallery section below.
The R3 gives a very different vibe compared to my ADV160 — it's more aggressive and performance-focused. The acceleration, handling, and sound make it a joy to ride, especially on open roads or twisty backroads.
Highlights:
Highway Cruising: Stable at high speeds
City Riding: Light clutch, easy to filter through traffic
Thailand Ride: Smooth even at long distances
Night Rides: RGB glow and LED lights really stand out
Future Goals: Black bodykit and SC Project exhaust for a sleeker, meaner look

Owning the Yamaha R3 (FBK6739G) has been an exciting experience so far. It's a reliable sportbike with performance to match its looks. The Thailand ride proved that it's more than just a pretty face — it's a machine built for adventure and speed.
More upgrades are on the way, especially the SC Project slip-on and a brand new black bodykit.
I’ll keep this page updated with photos, mods, and maintenance logs.
